The years went on and so did our baking. We realized not long ago that creating and recreating recipes was a specialty of ours. We began entering contests and bake-offs. It just felt right for us to share our creations with as many people we could reach.
It all started in college (University of Minnesota where we are from), we should have founded “Triplet’s Gourmet” at that time in our lives but, it was just a dream, which is now coming/has come true! We baked cookies for the fraternities on the UofM campus and the requests meant success, to us!
Though we have never charged $ for our special creation, the requests for our cookies grew bigger and bigger. The waiting list for our gourmet treats got lengthier and lengthier. Before we knew it we were mailing cookies all over the world (from troops in Iraq to Dale Earnhardt, JR. and our NASCAR friends) all baked from scratch in our home in Los Angeles where we moved in 1999 and still reside.
It was an HONOR the response to our “1, 2, 3 cups of love” in every bite. We were dedicated to using the finest as well as unique tasty ingredients. We never want to steer away from the taste of HOME MADE, “just like grandma used to make!”
With the overwhelming request and memorable comments like; “you should really sell these,” “You can’t just eat one,” or “what is the secret, they are so GOOD?” They can’t always remember our names but they always, always remember THOSE cookies we made!
We just knew One day would have the pleasure of “Tickling Taste Buds” on a nonstop basis. The break came when the “Ivy Hotel” San Diego suggested using us for their Grand Opening. We were to bake close to 1000 cookies, package them and provide them hot and fresh for turndown service. We were thrilled with the request and overwhelmed with the appreciated response. The idea was a hit and “Triplet’s Gourmet, LLC” was born…. What we thought was a one stop hit, has now turned into Tripletsgourmet.com available 24/7 at the IVY Hotel room service, delivered HOT when ordered as well as right here online at Triplesgourmet.com.
We along with our cookies have had the pleasure of being featured on the Dr. Phil, Christmas show, Paula Deen’s eyes lit up when she took her first bite of our home baked cookies. “what a delight, YOU made these????? She asked. Thanks to our very dear Dr. Phil. We have been blessed! As well as provide “The Doctors” and “Dr. Phil” sets with our cookies creations we have taken advantage of the Real Estate industry creating platters for Billy Dolan, Hilton & Highland open houses.
